The screen above can be accessed by clicking on the Options menu from the toolbar, and selecting Mail and News Preferences. At the bottom of that window can be found the news settings. Once you set the server to the proper configuration, you should be ready to access news. Netscape Communicator 4.x
To change the settings within Netscape Communicator, you need to go to the Edit menu from the toolbar, and then select Preferences. From there select Mail & Groups, and then Groups Server. Once you are at that window, enter the server name as indicated in the above image. Once you have set that, you will be able to access newsgroups from Netscape Communicator. |
